Breakfast restaurant on Bülowstraße founded by three top chefs: rethought breakfast classics instead of avocado toast.

Frühstück 3000 started as a pop-up series. Maxi, Martin and Lukas, all three previously cooks in luxury hotels and top restaurants, wanted to serve Berliners a better breakfast than the hundredth avocado toast. Today there are two restaurants, one in Kreuzberg opposite the Jewish Museum and this one on Bülowstraße in Schöneberg, with a large outdoor area.

The kitchen sets out to break up German breakfast culture and rethink it. There are no bread rolls, but there is very good bread. The menu includes eggs Benedict with house-cured salmon and caviar, the Chicken 3000 with crispy chicken on a cheddar waffle and chilli bacon caramel, a vegan breakfast burrito with BBQ mushrooms and baked tofu, or roast beef on rosemary focaccia. For something sweet there is bread pudding or crème brûlée French toast with rhubarb ragout. If you want, you can still get a plain boiled egg. Book at weekends.
