Saveur de Bánh Mì sits at the upper end of Veteranenstraße and pulls a queue that curls toward the Weinbergspark across the street.
Inside, the menu is two sandwiches: one with chicken and one vegan, both eight euros. The baguette is baked specifically for the shop — crackling outside, so airy inside it almost springs back on the first bite. Orders go through a QR code at the counter, payment runs through the same screen. Between the bread: mayo and chicken pâté, pickled carrots and radish, cucumber with coriander and chives. On request, a homemade chili sauce that burns long. Eat at the narrow counter strip inside, or carry it to a bench in the park.
