Rutz Zollhaus
Regional-modern restaurant in the historic Zollhaus on the Landwehrkanal in Kreuzberg, run by the Rutz team.
Rutz Zollhaus is a German restaurant in Kreuzberg. Open Mon closed, Tue-Sat 18:00-23:00, Sun closed.
In the historic Zollhaus on the Landwehrkanal, the Rutz team has taken over and continues its regional-Brandenburg line.
Florian Mennicken runs the kitchen, balancing the menu between Berlin food culture and product-driven modernity. Plates carry Königsberger Klopse alongside char ceviche, zander with bean ragout and meadow herbs, or entrecôte from house-aged pasture beef. Vegetarian options hold their own, like tartare of roasted carrot. The wine list carries a deep Bordeaux selection with rarities. In summer the terrace opens directly on the water.
