Romeo's Sandwiches sits on a corner in the Wrangelkiez, where Lausitzer Straße meets Skalitzer, a few steps from Görlitzer Park.
The room is bright — walnut panels, an open kitchen with red-and-white tiles, a wooden counter. The concept is narrow: a few sandwiches, carefully made, in limited daily quantities. The Chicken Melt is the anchor — sourdough from a Friedrichshain bakery, grilled, with chicken, tarragon sauce and melted cheese. Alongside runs The Italian as a generously stacked deli option with cold cuts and pickled vegetables. The focaccia comes out of the in-house oven — once the daily batch is gone, the shop closes.
