FABELEI sits in the Akazienkiez in Schöneberg, a bright, smoke-free cocktail bar with an in-house bistro kitchen on the corner of Kyffhäuserstraße.

Behind the counter the team works with fat-washing, fermentation and a centrifuge, syrups and cordials are made on site. The menu runs from cited classics to original drinks framed by short stories in English, alongside a daily rotation of warm dishes. Tuesdays are Classic Tuesday, Thursdays bring tartare, and a recurring supper club lines up a five-course menu with paired cocktails. Pale wood and tall windows place the room deliberately against the dark speakeasy cliché.
