The Hochkirchstraße address has been a bakery for over 100 years.

For the last quarter-century it ran as Seitz Brot & Wein — in November 2023, Claudia Holzwig took over and renamed it Brotgut. The interior is partly new; the recipes are not: sourdough breads and Blechkuchen follow the original formulas. The Ladencafé makes a quick stop worth lingering over.
