Bar Basta is on the ground floor of the Casa Camper hotel on the corner of Weinmeisterstraße and Rosenthaler Straße. In 2024 Arash Ghassemi and Cäcilia Baldszus ran the pop-up Lobb here for two months, with up to 120 guests a day and long waiting lists. Afterwards their Bar Basta moved into the hotel for good.

The kitchen is a market kitchen with a changing seasonal menu and influences from Italy, France, Turkey, Greece and Spain, with New York-style brunch at weekends. The room is a Berlin take on southern European eateries, with waiters in white, an open kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows that slide fully open in summer. Closed on Mondays.
