Behind a garage door on Glogauer Straße sits the Peruvian diner in arguably the prettiest garage in town.
Ari’s lives in a converted garage near Görlitzer Park, courtyard included. Arianna runs a menu between US breakfast canon and Lima soulfood: fluffy pancakes and breakfast burger in a soft bun, plus mac and cheese and grilled sandwiches. The peppery chopped cheese almost nobody else here is plating sits in the middle. House-made sauces back it: aji verde from cilantro and jalapeño, aji amarillo creamy and yellow, garlicky chicken-shop mayo. Vibe: Williamsburg with a layover in Lima, counter open to the kitchen. No reservations.
