The name nods to sorrel — the wild meadow herb packed with vitamin C that is quietly returning to Berlin kitchens. Inside: pale oak slats, half-rendered plaster walls, large-format works by a Berlin artist. By day, brunch and lunch from a seasonal menu, cooked with produce from small regional growers, meat and fish from small Berlin producers. Thursday and Friday evenings the room tips into a natural-wine bar with an organic option by the glass. Signature is a braised beef ragù on creamy Parmesan polenta.
