Ralf Rüller’s The Barn has roasted in Berlin since 2012, supplying ten Berlin cafés with third-wave specialty coffee plus locations in Palma, Seoul and Dubai.
The outpost on Friedrichstraße 215 sits right at the Kochstraße U-Bahn exit, in the middle of the tourist axis — wood interior inside, a quiet terrace in the back. The pick: a hand-filtered brew, with the staff briefing you on the rotating bean selection. A specialty refuge in a corner otherwise dominated by currywurst and souvenirs.
