Ralf Rüller’s The Barn has roasted in Berlin since 2012, supplying ten Berlin cafés with third-wave specialty coffee plus locations in Palma, Seoul and Dubai.
The outpost on Friedelstraße is the quiet pick in the Reuterkiez — warm wood and terracotta tones, a large communal table, seasonal filter coffee. The pick: the hot chocolate, made with real chocolate and Demeter milk, one of the better hot drinks outside the coffee programme. Card payments only.
