Right on Chamissoplatz in Bergmannkiez, named after the fairy-tale figure by Adalbert von Chamisso.
The large window front opens up completely in summer; inside, wooden benches and tables; outside, the cobblestone street serves as the terrace. The menu stays true to a German-speaking core: Käsespätzle comes classic with Bergkäse, fried onions and chives, or as a variant with Gorgonzola, rocket and walnuts. Also: spinach and pretzel dumplings in mushroom sauce, a rolled roast burger with apple chutney and sweet potato mash. Beer, wine and cocktails run alongside the full menu.
