Jolesch borrows its name from Friedrich Torbergs novel character „Tante Jolesch“ and translates that Viennese storytelling tradition between Muskauer Straße and Wrangelkiez into a kitchen built for Austrian classics.
The dining room in bottle-green walls, plenty of wood and dimmed light carries the concept — in winter a fireplace crackles, in summer the street terrace opens. The card lists Wiener Schnitzel paper-thin and golden-brown, alongside Tafelspitz, Käsespätzle and Gulasch — and as a cross-genre detour Gänse-Gyoza with confit goose leg, chanterelles, jus and matcha. Vegan, the schnitzel arrives from tempeh with Erdäpfelsalat.
