Restaurant and social project run by the Be an Angel association on Yorckstraße — Syrian cooking, with a team from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.
Staff are trained here and placed in other kitchens. Laylali Jafaar runs the kitchen. The room is warm: saffron tones, plants, restrained wall décor, calm even when the front is busy. On the menu: crisp Sanbousaks, a cold mezze plate with hummus and baba ganoush, Lebanese Cuvées de Printemps with flatbread. The signature is Kabse — chicken with lemon over rice studded with almonds and cashews, a Syrian feast dish.
