Common is a café and microbakery on Karl-Marx-Straße by day, with a courtyard pizza window pouring long-fermented sourdough pizza at night.
Mornings move on specialty coffee plus cardamom buns, cinnamon swirls and sourdough brioches baked in-house. Later, the menu opens up to rye sandwiches with North Sea cheese and seasonal galettes. Come evening, things shift to the back: the Pizza Window hands out sourdough pizzas built for the table. The dough ferments long, the toppings sit between stripped-back and loaded. Scandinavian baking meets a Berlin courtyard, neither side smothering the other.
