Saveur de Bánh Mì Schöneberg

Bánh mì on Akazienstraße: classic with chicken pâté and pickled vegetables or vegan, in a baguette baked for the shop.

Saveur de Bánh Mì makes Vietnamese sandwiches and nothing else. There are shops in Berlin, Hamburg and Frankfurt, one of them on Akazienstraße in Schöneberg.

The menu has two bánh mì. For the classic, the baguette is spread with mayonnaise and chicken pâté and filled with thinly sliced chicken ham, pickled radish and carrot, cucumber, coriander and chives, with house chilli sauce if you like. The vegan one comes with pea protein and tofu. The baguette is baked specially for Saveur, crisp outside and fluffy inside, and filled fresh to order. Bánh mì goes back to the French colonial era in Vietnam, when Vietnamese cooks filled the baguette with their own ingredients.
