onette sits on Grunewaldstraße in the Bayerisches Viertel and turns the Schöneberg corner spot into a dual concept: diner in the morning and at lunch, wine bar in the afternoon.
The menu pulls American luncheonette into Berlin Eckkneipe. Kartoffelpuffer with fried egg and dill cream. Bacon-Egg-Cheese sandwich. Alongside it Hühnersuppe, Spreewaldgurken and rotating dailies between hash browns and Leberwurst. From late afternoon the kitchen makes room for a small, rotating wine list with snacks. Pie is mandatory here — Lemon Meringue keeps surfacing in every write-up. Reservations only kick in from six guests, anything below runs walk-in.
