Night Kitchen
Israeli-Mediterranean sharing menu in the Heckmann Höfe courtyard, with an open kitchen, central bar and shot rounds late into the night.
Night Kitchen is a Mediterranean restaurant in Mitte, priced 40–80 €. Open Mon closed, Tue-Sun 17:00-23:00.
In the courtyard of Oranienburger Straße, inside the renovated stables of the Heckmann Höfe, the team cooks Israeli-Mediterranean.
Founded by a Tel Aviv duo and run by Shay Lanczet, the menu rotates every three to four months: aubergine masabaha with pomegranate and tahini, roasted cauliflower, beetroot salad with pistachios. The heart is Dinner with Friends, a personalised menu for two to twelve guests that opens with fluffy challah and moves on to roasted carrots on labneh. High tables and bar stools crowd the open kitchen, and the central bar makes clear that drinking is part of the meal.
