Inside the Berlin Marriott at Potsdamer Platz sits the Midtown Grill — an American steakhouse where everything runs larger: the rooms, the menu boards, the entrance.
Behind the open kitchen the grill flames, stainless-steel pans rattle. Meat sits at the centre — cuts sourced from the US, Australia and South America, plus surf-and-turf with lobster. T-bone, rib eye and filet mignon come medium rare on the dot, always with herb butter and caramelised onions. Sides run creamed spinach, green beans and baked potato — fries to share. At the end the bill arrives with a small marshmallow oven, plus the New York cheesecake in full American format.
