Italian-style day bar on the Hotel Wilmina's courtyard: specialty coffee and brunch in the morning, aperitivo in the afternoon.

Lotta is on the lower ground floor of the Carlotta apartment building, just behind Suarezstraße with its antique shops. The building is by Grüntuch Ernst Architects, who also turned the former women's prison on Kantstraße into the Hotel Wilmina, and the two share a leafy courtyard with an ivy wall that has been growing for decades. Lotta opened in spring 2024 as a day bar in the Italian style.

In the morning there is specialty coffee, chai latte and lemonades from freshly pressed juice, plus brunch: grilled sourdough with changing toppings, waffles with berries and buckwheat crunch, granola and the "Croque Wilmina" with house-made pastrami, cheese from Blomeyer's and kimchi. In the afternoon it moves into aperitivo, with wines, cocktails and small bites like pickled vegetables, fresh goat's cheese with caramelised walnuts or honey-salt nuts. Jams, granola and pickles from the kitchen are also available to take home.
