Kitchen Library on Bleibtreustraße in Charlottenburg, run since 2016 by owner duo Daniela and Udo Knörlein.
Turn-of-the-century Berlin rooms with around 800 cookbooks on the shelves — the name-giving motif. Tasting menu available in five, six or seven courses, framed by a mise en bouche, a small bread course, the Salty Tea Time and petit fours. Udo Knörlein has turned his love for pickling into the defining note of his delicate plates — the sour thread runs all the way to dessert. Highlight is the fermented strawberry with white chocolate, crispbread and basil.
