A beer-hall on Grünberger Straße in Friedrichshain with wood interior across multiple levels and an original GDR-era ceiling under heritage protection — less polished design, more honest-rustic.
130 seats stagger up and down stairs and feel more Black Forest cabin than East Berlin address. The menu centres on game meat from Brandenburg: venison pâté and smoked eel on the hunters board for two, alongside pike fillet from the Rügen Bodden, mountain lentils with savoy cabbage and potato noodles with vanilla sauce. Vegetarians are accounted for, and one regional beer is poured exclusively in Berlin. In summer a large beer garden opens out.
