File Asto Taverna

Greek taverna on Reichenberger Straße from the File Asto team: mains wrapped in paper, mezze and wine by the carafe.

With their wine bar File Asto on Kollwitzstraße, Solomon Papadopoulos and Alexios Vezakiadis brought simple Greek cooking to Prenzlauer Berg. In March 2026 they opened their second address on Reichenberger Straße, File Asto Taverna, again under the motto "Simple is Greek" but with a bigger menu.

You sit at small metal tables, read the handwritten menu and order one more carafe. The mains are the best thing here: meat, seafood or vegetables wrapped in brown paper, such as souvlaki, grilled tuna or feta. There are mezze too and wines from small Greek producers. Open Thursday to Monday.
