Kiduk Reus and Yumi Choi opened Bonanza on Oderberger in 2006, bringing specialty coffee to Berlin — today with several Berlin cafés, a roastery in Kreuzberg and locations in Seoul, awarded „Best Independent Coffee Shop in Europe" in 2025.
The roastery itself sits on Adalbertstraße, where Reus roasts on restored Probat machines from his own workshop — a workshop that supplies over two hundred international roasters with equipment. Café with broad bean selection next door, light wooden furniture, organic milk. The pick: a direct-trade bean from the current selection, briefed at the counter.
