Bertie is Berlin's take on the American diner — sharing plates from the NY repertoire, executed at bistro level.
Wooden booth benches, steel stools at the bar, floor-to-ceiling windows along the front. Buffalo Wings land as the clear signature, joined by Caesar schnitzel with parmesan. Deviled eggs with smoked yolk and seasonal flatbreads rotate with what is in. Dessert arrives as banana pudding built on the Magnolia Bakery recipe out of New York. The room is walk-in only, and the owners intend to keep it that way.
