A short walk from Ku'damm in Schöneberg, the US-born owner translates the Levant into a modern Berlin language. With a new head chef, the existing dishes have been modernized and the menu has noticeably tightened. Mezze as architecture: a tower of three stacked layers of muhammara, hummus and baba ghanoush with crisp flatbread. Alongside, drinks that carry the concept — a glass of Chateau Ksara from Lebanon, house-made lemonades, in-house ice creams.
