Manon Brasserie Nouvelle inside the Hotel Roomers on Steinplatz — Duc Ngo, who brought Berlin its first stylish Asian restaurant with Kuchi over 25 years ago and created a long-runner with the Madame Ngo soup kitchen, now takes a French turn.
tip-Berlin calls it a 'stage of urban society'. Half-round upholstered booths, fine wooden tables, Danish designer pendants above, the open kitchen at the back. The card reads like a Who's Who of French brasserie. Signature: tatar de boeuf, classic alongside huîtres, foie gras and steak frites. The courtyard terrace is on its way for summer.
