LA MAISON is the French boulangerie-pâtisserie on Herrfurthplatz in Neukölln, light-flooded and with a sunny terrace in the Schillerkiez.
Croissants run in several versions — plain, with chocolate or with almonds. Alongside: pain au chocolat, brioche and financiers that taste the way they do in a Parisian boulangerie. Breads come crunchy from the oven, joined by topped baguettes, tarts and cookies. Savoury covers croque maison or a tuna melt on brioche. Boulangerie and pâtisserie also run in vegan versions. The address is the third of this Kreuzberg-born house. As a stop on the way into Tempelhofer Feld, it doubles as a picnic supply.
