India Club Berlin
Elevated North Indian behind the Adlon: clay tandoor, organic poultry from the owners' farm, curries by two Delhi specialists.
India Club Berlin is a Indian restaurant in Mitte, priced 50–100 €. Open Mon 17:00-23:30, Tue closed, Wed-Sat 17:00-23:30, Sun 17:00-23:00.
At Behrenstrasse 72, behind Hotel Adlon, India Club serves elevated North Indian cooking.
The kitchen is led by star chef Manish Bahukhandi, who brought two specialists from New Delhi — one for tandoor, one for curry. The clay tandoor is the centerpiece: poultry and lamb in organic quality, exclusively from the owners' own farm near Heiligendamm. No beef, no pork; curries and chutneys blended in-house. On the menu: papadams with three chutneys, Chicken Tikka Highway with coriander and black pepper, Palak Corn Tikki, shrimp or aubergine curry. Vegetarian throughout, vegan on request. British colonial room, dark mahogany paneling.
