At Behrenstrasse 72, behind Hotel Adlon, India Club serves elevated North Indian cooking.
The kitchen is led by star chef Manish Bahukhandi, who brought two specialists from New Delhi — one for tandoor, one for curry. The clay tandoor is the centerpiece: poultry and lamb in organic quality, exclusively from the owners' own farm near Heiligendamm. No beef, no pork; curries and chutneys blended in-house. On the menu: papadams with three chutneys and Chicken Tikka Highway with coriander and black pepper. Also Palak Corn Tikki and shrimp or aubergine curry. Vegetarian throughout, vegan on request.
