Hokey Pokey Stargarder

The larger Hokey Pokey ice cream patisserie on Stargarder Straße: pistachio with whole Sicilian pistachios, ice cream cakes and pralines.

Niko Robert was a pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton before founding the ice cream patisserie Hokey Pokey on Stargarder Straße in 2011. His idea was a premium ice cream combining traditional Italian and French patisserie craft with trends from fine dining, without powders or ready-made mixes. In August 2014 a second, larger shop opened on the same street, the one at Stargarder Straße 72.

One of the most popular flavours is the pistachio with whole roasted Sicilian pistachios. Others include white chocolate with butter caramel and macadamia nuts, or plum sorbet with butter caramel ice cream and cinnamon biscuits. Hokey Pokey also sells ice cream cakes, pralines and spreads and now has four shops in Berlin.
