Friedrichstraße film-set staging: dark, slightly louche, light and cool at the same time.
Crackers is bar and restaurant in one, a club-restaurant hybrid with a custom-designed interior, and on weekends rotating DJs take over the room. The crossover kitchen leans exclusively on welfare-farmed produce — owner Cookie is a vegetarian himself, and that stance dictates the sourcing. Headliner among the mains: carabineros, wild-caught Mediterranean red giant prawns in a marinade of preserved lemon, red pepperoni and coriander. Opened by a warm brioche service. Experience dining that has no real counterpart in the city.
