Secret Garden | Vegan Sushi
Berlin's first fully vegan sushi restaurant on Warschauer Straße: maki and inside-out on black rice, plus udon, curry and a Kyoto-toned dining room.
Secret Garden | Vegan Sushi is a Vegan restaurant in Friedrichshain, priced 20–30 €. Open Mon-Sat 12:00-23:00, Sun 13:00-22:00.
Above the Veganz on Warschauer Straße sits Berlin’s first fully vegan sushi restaurant.
Maki and inside-out rolls land often on black rice — a savoury, almost inky base. Alongside edamame and seaweed salad, dumplings and kimchi, plus udon and curry. The rolls carry names with a voice of their own — „Dichte der Erde" is one — and the room translates that care into an atmosphere closer to old-town Kyoto than to the tram junction outside. Brined and fresh vegetables alongside mushrooms, tofu and soy carry the whole menu; orders run in-house, online or by phone. Anyone serious about vegan sushi in Friedrichshain lands here first.
