NOVEMBER Brasserie

Japanese brasserie on Husemannstraße from the team behind The Catch: fish from markets in Japan and Spain, Bib Gourmand.

The corner of Husemannstraße used to be home to Café November. In 2022 The Catch, the team behind the fish restaurant of the same name in Charlottenburg, took over the space and kept the name. The neighbourhood café became a Japanese-inspired brasserie.

Fish and seafood come directly from fish markets in Japan and Spain. At a small sushi counter you can watch the chefs slice toro and shape nigiri. The menu has sashimi, nigiri and warm dishes; at the opening these included turbot with miso and shiitake butter or, for vegetarians, fried oyster mushrooms. The room is panelled in oak, and in summer you sit outside among plants. In 2023 the Michelin Guide awarded November a Bib Gourmand. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 6 pm.
