Pluto

Wine bar on Kastanienallee from the otto team: biodynamic wines, Mangalitza ham, pork head terrine, no reservations.

Pluto is on Kastanienallee, a few steps from otto, and is the project of Vadim Otto Ursus and Sören Zuppke. The wine bar has three connected rooms. There are no reservations; you sit wherever there is space: on a wooden stool at the bar in the narrow hallway, at the windowsill or on the bench. The models were French caves and Spanish pintxo bars. The room was designed by the studio kore projects, with cherry wood, zinc, handmade clay tiles and walls in warm red.

The wine list focuses on biodynamic European producers, with champagne, draft beer and aperitifs too. The food follows the season: baguette with butter, a whole wheel of cheese, homemade Mangalitza ham, pork head terrine, veal tongue salad or marinated mussels. The team buys whole animals from Brandenburg producers and uses them together with the sister restaurants otto and Trio. Open Thursday to Monday from 5 pm.
