File Asto sits on Kollwitzstraße and runs a Greek mezze bar with a strictly cold kitchen.
There are no warm dishes — the menu is built around homemade cold mezze for the table: tarama and tirokafteri, dakos salad, plus graviera and other Greek cheeses. Fine dips and olives alongside, bread chips from the baker. Alongside it sits a serious wine list from small Greek estates. Inside small and tightly edited — stainless steel, wood, a few family pictures — outside a terrace opens onto the Kiez. The tone is kafenio-relaxed, built for long evenings with a few plates and a carafe of wine.
