Hot Spot is a Chinese restaurant, priced 20–30 €. Open Mon-Sun 12:00-23:00.

At Hot Spot in Charlottenburg, the Wu family treats Chinese cuisine as a meeting point of heat and mildness.

Original recipes from Sichuan, Jiangsu and Shanghai are composed from fresh ingredients and served handmade on Eisenzahnstraße. What sets the house apart from Berlin's Chinese landscape is its love for wine: Jianhu Wu walks his guests through the pairings, with a clear soft spot for German Rieslings, which track the Sichuan aromatics with surprising precision. Wine evenings come around regularly — three provinces on the plate, Riesling in the glass. It is part of why many of the city's top chefs drop in here on their nights off.
